I bought this to use under my kitchen cupboard. So far I've walked into the kitchen about five times to find it on the countertop. Works well. If you install it face down under a cabinet, the motion sensor seems to work better if you have the switch end on the left and the charging port on the right. The light gives off a nice warm glow rather than the typical bright white LED light. It's not really bright. The range of the sensor is about 3 feet in my experience. After it recognizes you for the first time, the light will turn on and turn off after 20 seconds. I love these things a lot. I have multiple 18 LED and 10 LED lights throughout the house. Ideal for closets or automatic night lights. UPDATE: This light finally died in October 2021. It lasted about three years, so not bad, but the battery ended up not holding a charge.
