Review on πŸ’‘ Wireless Motion Sensor LED Closet Light: Rechargeable, Magnetic, 18 White LEDs by Ralph Foster

Great light but short lived

I ordered it in June 2018. It's December 2018 and it won't be charging much longer. I like the concept, but the built-in battery definitely has a limited lifespan. It's a shame, because we really like the light. We installed it in the hallway alcove where my wife keeps her purse. So she goes through the front door and puts her purse in that dark alcove. Since the lantern has a motion sensor, the light comes on when she puts her hand in the niche and goes off again a little later. It is great. There is a metal plate at the top of the niche. The light has magnets and this is how the light attaches to this metal plate. When it's time to charge, we simply remove the flashlight and plug it into a USB port. After a while, the green LED will light up, indicating that the flashlight is fully charged. Then just put it back on the metal plate. The whole concept is great! The only issue we have is that the internal fixed battery doesn't last long. I replaced it with an LED strip (Revain #B071RV4PGP) which is rated for 4 AA batteries. Instead, I attached a 6V flashlight battery with alligator clips (Revain #B06XX25HFX). Scott
