Review on Fujitsu ScanSnap S1100i Mobile Scanner for PC/Mac by Eric Temple

This scanner was delivered on 10/24/15 and today is 10/30/15 and I still cannot use it as it is not compatible with a Mac with a new one Operating system El Capitan 10.11.1. Yesterday I spoke to a Fujitsu employee who told me that Fujitsu is working on compatibility but doesn't know how long it will take, a week, a month. I was told to keep checking the Fujitsu website. How can a company sell a product that claims to be compatible with the operating system when it isn't? I don't know if I should send this scanner back to Revain or wait for Fujitsu to get together. Disgusting! I will update this review soon. To update. The next day I called Fujitsu and contacted a woman named Beth who lives in Oregon. She helped me download a new driver to make my scanner compatible with my Mac with El Capitan. I have to say that I am a happy person after our conversation because the scanner works perfectly. I will soon be 76 years old. I'm old next week and not really computer savvy so I appreciate the patience Beth showed in helping me. If Fujitsu keeps an eye on these ratings, Beth deserves a raise for her diligence towards Fujitsu. By the way, I live in Wisconsin and I don't know Beth from Adam. 5 stars for Fujitsu s1100i scanner. I'm changing my rating to 5 stars, thanks Beth.
