Best Phone Holder

I really like this phone holder out of the many I have tried before. The hook fixes the phone holder securely to the ventilation grille. The design leaves the phone a few inches away from the vent itself and has a smaller profile to restrict airflow. They omit the up/down adjustment but retain the left/right adjustment if you have horizontal louvers. The magnet holds tight, but the hook holds the mount in place when you remove your phone. Compared to similar vent mounts that hold the phone firmly to the vent, the phone vibrates a bit more but it's not annoying. This holder brings the phone a few inches closer to my fingers, so I don't have to reach out to change settings or answer a call. I'm getting another one for my spouse. The suction cup mounts will fall off at high temperatures or temperature changes. In many states it is illegal to mount brackets in the center of the windshield. Adhesive mounts will ruin your dash, don't work well on leather and ultimately glass, and leave a sticky mess. Gooseneck holders vibrate and don't always stay in place. Clip holders sometimes require two hands to install and remove the phone. The cup holder sits the phone too low and requires someone to take their eyes off the road to see anything. For all these reasons, I consider it one of the best, small, simple and inexpensive. Adhesive mounts will ruin your dash, don't work well on leather and ultimately glass, and leave a sticky mess.
