Upgraded Miracase Universal Magnetic Generation Review

I don't know how I'm the only one whose phone flies off this thing when I turn a corner? Am I just a real Mario cart driver or something? I have a regular sized iPhone 12 with a MagSafe case direct from the Apple Store. It holds up well when I'm standing, but every time I hit a bump or turn into a tight corner, my phone flies up and gets lost somewhere under the passenger seat. My Subaru Impreza has air vents so sometimes they fall off too.

It took a bit of maneuvering to fit my Toyota CHR but it fits, works and I'm happy. In my car, the dashboard design doesn't allow me to use suction cup phone holder. This is ideal for attaching to a ventilation opening. The magnet is quite strong and I've never had the mount while driving or snapped my iPhone XR out of it. I am very happy. This is exactly what I needed. I had a little problem with the magnets on my phone. But I ended up attaching it to my phone case. It's good.

On the iPhone 12 Pro, the magnetic mount works enough to keep the phone powered on under normal driving conditions until you hit a pothole. However, pay attention to the photos, the phones are not in a case. However, my phone has a very thin case. The magnet is not strong enough to hold the device securely even in the thinnest case. Fastening is good, goes well with the ventilation grilles. The material is appropriate, the design is minimalist. However, the magnet is not a "super strong magnet"

A few years ago I bought one of these that just clips to the vent, they keep falling off. Eventually I used super glue to keep it in place forever. Not the best solution since I sold the car and they either have to use the same system or break open the vent to remove it. Since this one has a clip on the back, it tightens and holds it there very well. Almost every system cannot be used on the dashboard because of all the curves, the suction cups can only be used on the windshield and I find them

So far, so good. The magnets are strong (see warning at the bottom of the review). The way it attaches to the vent is perfect. I'm not worried about the vent breaking as it's pretty solid and doesn't move even under the weight of the iPhone 12 Pro Max and Otter Box case. I love this magnetic phone holder. Holds the vent in place and makes accessing my phone much easier than one that clips around your phone (cradle style). Note the direction you need to turn to move the hook latch in and out, and also push the lever down to open the jaws and slide over the vent. I really like this phone holder out of the many I have tried before. The hook fixes the phone holder securely to the ventilation grille. The design leaves the phone a few inches away from the vent itself and has a smaller profile to restrict airflow.
