Setting up these Genie Remotes really couldn't be easier. I was able to set it up for my two Genie openers in minutes, simply by pressing the appropriate button on the opener itself and then pressing the button on the remote I wanted to pair it with. It worked right away. This remote in particular replaced one with a visor clip that probably came with the fairly old original openers. I will say one thing though. If you have this on your keychain, expect accidental key presses here and there. They are quite sensitive and I have found my car key accidentally pressing buttons, for example in a purse or pocket. I ended up taking it off the key fob and just leaving it in the car. Overall a great remote and easy to set up!
