It couldn't be easier

Setting up these Genie Remotes really couldn't be easier. I was able to set it up for my two Genie openers in minutes, simply by pressing the appropriate button on the opener itself and then pressing the button on the remote I wanted to pair it with. It worked right away. This remote in particular replaced one with a visor clip that probably came with the fairly old original openers. I will say one thing though. If you have this on your keychain, expect accidental key presses here and there…

NO VISOR CLIP in the door

IF you want to take the radio opener with you and not hang it in the car, that would be great. Nice little built in flashlight. I can't imagine very many people wanting to do this though, so why did Genie release it that way, you see. I have completely reprogrammed 2 door openers and 4 remote controls including my car's built in 'Home Link' and it WAS convenient to send the code from the Home Link, apart from being pretty much useless to ME. I don't like anything about that. I read bad reviews when I wanted to buy this product. So glad I bought it anyway. Contrary to bad reviews, the buttons are easy to press. This does NOT apply to what I received. I keep it on a keychain in my pocket and backpack. It was never used alone. No clip and super sensitive buttons

If you're planning on attaching it to your car's sun visor, this bottle opener isn't for you. The "trigger " control buttons are very sensitive, causing the garage door to move unintentionally.

Well, finally I get it. After years of peacefully triggering and randomly opening/closing this remote, it finally caught me by surprise.
