Strong little fin. Remember that this is a very short utensil. Unlike some pliers, they are always in the open position. There's no lock to keep it closed, which is fine because it really isn't needed. But that also means it doesn't open very wide - again, it's not needed to use the waffle. We use it for our Belgian waffle maker. I think it works great. It is better to use than to prick waffles with a fork. I'm 5ft 10" tall with large woman hands. My fingers are short and my palms are wide. I have no problem managing this pinball machine. Why am I telling you this? Mention it because other reviews said it was too small to use? no I wouldn't use it in a hot cast iron skillet with simmering oil, but is it safe and easy to make waffles from a waffle maker? Yeah, totally fine. Some of you say it's from Barbie's Dream Kitchen lol. I bought mine when it was around $6-7. That's what I would spend the most on. I see they say it's $18. well done, but not for every day (well, unless you make waffles every day. Can I stay at your place?) It's ok. I like it. we use it I have no problem with that. Full Review.
