The scent is incredible! At first I hesitated because I couldn't imagine my clothes smelling like ginger. Only a hint of ginger can be detected, which unexpectedly adds a nice base note to the mango taste. I am extremely sensitive to fragrances, perfume/colognes, hairspray, household products, bleach etc. and get migraines easily. This scent doesn't give me migraines. My son has neurodermatitis. He accidentally washed his clothes with it and found that he had no reaction to this product. My only complaint (3 stars) is that it's expensive for how many loads you can make out of each bag.
