Review on Powerful Mr. Beams MB990 UltraBright Wireless Ceiling Light: 300 Lumens, Motion Sensing, Indoor/Outdoor LED, Battery Powered - White by Melissa Welter

I was very disappointed! I wanted to install this in a small closet in our old house. The ceilings are 13 feet high and difficult to reach. So I installed it over the inside of the door. When I open the door nothing happens. I literally have to reach out and wave my hand to turn on the light. The light stays on for about 30 seconds, then I have to wait about 20 seconds, wave my hand again and hope the light comes on again. This is literally an OVERHEAD LIGHT and is useless anywhere else. Also, nothing should remotely block its limited motion-sensing ability. And like I said, it doesn't take very long - do what you have to do and go. ONE STAR! UPDATE - I was contacted by Mr. Beams (see comment). They kindly offered to replace the MB990 with the MB970, a brand new model that seems to suit my needs better. Also, they offered to send a replacement and asked me to send the MB990 back in that package. They will also replace the D-cell batteries used in the MB990 with the C-cells used in the MB970. Customer service was FANTASTIC! I will provide a final update once the process is complete. Up to THREE STARS! UPDATE 2 - I have received a replacement product for MB970. This is perfect for my needs. It can be wall mounted and adjusted to direct the light where you need it. It is easy to assemble and attach to the wall. The light is bright and perfect for my closet!
