Review on ๐Ÿšด High-Performance Road Bike Tire: Continental Grand Prix 5000 by Patrick Gibb

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great tire, good for tires

I have ridden several tire brands (over the years) and decided to try them (Continental 5000). First I had Orbea Orca which I have had for a few years now. I bought two 28 tires for the front and rear and found that I could only fit 25s in the front and 28s in the rear. I said what the hell, I really couldn't make much of a difference. Well, I was very, very surprised! The bike ran much smoother (much) and the speed increased! I felt like I had a completely different bike! The tires handled much better and the ride was much smoother regardless of the road. I've ridden 23s for years, but I've found that lower pressure (95) and larger circumference tires did the trick. I haven't ridden too many miles so can't comment on durability (we'll see how it goes). But for now I would definitely recommend this tire!
