sorry i wanted to love this but i can't. I ordered a replacement but it has the same design flaw. Please see my "dirty" photo showing the lid and gasket components. There is an "opener" at the top which, like a plunger, releases the seal at the bottom for you to take a sip. When closed, the piston seal rises and the drops cannot escape. It's convenient and efficient, except you see that little 'key' at the top of the plunger? It is designed to be removed for cleaning. Unfortunately, it doesn't latch properly and the whole thing often falls into your coffee. The coffee doesn't leak, but the seal works like a dam, so you get a trickle and then a spurt of hot coffee. I couldn't crack this, so I consider it deadly. Too bad because otherwise it's perfect.
