They feel comfortable. This is one of the best steel toe shoes on the market. I wear an 8.5-9 and ordered a 9. They are a little long to wear. However, there is plenty of space. The outer fabric is stretchy and breathable. I wore them that first day and the break-in time was minimal. It seems they only adjusted after my foot warmed them up. Nice pair of shoes.
