Poor quality good for kitchen and dining room

I was so pleased with this as we recently moved and needed it. I patiently waited for his arrival, but when he arrived I saw that the tree had a crack. It wasn't damaged in shipping, looks like it was factory damaged and they tried putting wood glue on it but it was awful. There is also a chip in another area. I am so disappointed with the price. A $20 dish rack shouldn't have chips ignored by the manufacturer! It also has a powdery coating. As I touch the counter, I feel sand powder on my fingers. Pooh.
