🍽️ Sagler Wooden Dish Rack Plate Rack: Compact Bamboo Dish Drying Drainer - Collapsible Design Review

So I bought this to replace the bamboo I got from IKEA a few years ago because it had little nails that came out. I absolutely LOVE this new dish rack! The wood is of excellent quality and is held together with strong screws (no small nails!). I definitely recommend it! :)

I am very disappointed with this bamboo coaster. I ordered it on August 3rd after doing a lot of research and if I had just seen mold growing after LIGHT use for 1 month I would go back in a heartbeat! I live in the Inner Northwest, which is mostly desert. I don't have any moisturizers or moisture issues, but it took less than a month to build up.

Over the last 30 years we've probably bought just about every variation of these bamboo shelves that we have. But I've never seen anything like this. So we bought one, then another, and now we own four (we have two dishwashers). The best craftsmanship I have ever seen in my life. They fit easily in Lodge 12" iron pans. And besides the dishes, they are also suitable for many other things, such as drying fruit and vegetables.

I wanted a new one for my new location and my old bamboo has seen better days. Unfortunately I'm still using my old one and it got thrown in the basement. The plates sit too high to fit on the worktop under the wall units, where my second one used to stand. No value if you can't return and use it. I recommend the lower one unless you can use it on an island or where there are no upper cabinets.

I was impressed with this dryer. It is big and can hold a lot of dishes. I kept it on my countertop on a drying mat because I don't have a dishwasher. It is much more attractive than other metal dryers. However, I did notice mold growing on the bottom shelf of the shelf! I've only been using it for 2 months. I had to throw it away because thinking about eating from the plates that are on it made me disgusted. I was so sad thinking this dryer was real until mold started growing on it! See photo!

I was so pleased with this as we recently moved and needed it. I patiently waited for his arrival, but when he arrived I saw that the tree had a crack. It wasn't damaged in shipping, looks like it was factory damaged and they tried putting wood glue on it but it was awful. There is also a chip in another area. I am so disappointed with the price. This is an amazing dish holder. I was a bit nervous that it wouldn't be very strong or that the wood would warp easily, but to be honest it's very high quality. I couldn't love it more! We use it several times a day and I love that it folds easily to fit behind or under the sink. A quick rinse follows the initial check. I was impressed by how easy it is to set this on the counter (throw a kitchen towel underneath), full size plates, any size bowls, regular coffee cups and mugs, and dishes, all without tipping. I have been using an old dish rack for a long time and have never done anything to take care of it. I was given this to replace and of course being a plant based material it should be clear that it needs regular maintenance. It's more attractive, fits my double sink and holds a lot more than my dirty old previous shelf, but as other people have mentioned it's moldy after about 3 weeks of use.
