Review on 🚘 Catalytic Converter for Subaru Forester, Impreza, Legacy, Outback, and Saab 9-2X – High Flow, EPA Compliant, Direct-Fit (2006-2012) by Michael Harden

Overall quality looks good. The existing heat shield assembly did not fit the new converter and it took some work to get it closer to size. I had to widen the holes for the oxygen sensors and wrestle with the details of the heat shield to get it closer. The biggest problem with the installation was that the distance between the three bolts on the converter exhaust pipe connection did not exactly match the flange on the existing exhaust pipe. . I had to enlarge the holes in the existing joint to make it work. They also included six large nuts that didn't match the exhaust. After everything is tightened it seems to be working fine. But if you're looking for an easy, straight-fit replacement, look elsewhere.
