Review on Sanitaire Bagged Upright Vacuum Cleaner by Rebecca Johnson

I wanted a simple, no frills carpet vacuum that sucked well, was light and manoeuvrable, and this vacuum met my needs perfectly. Weighing just 12 pounds, it's easy to carry around the house and up stairs, and the handle folds down to get deep under low furniture. The 30 foot cord reduces the number of times I have to move the cord to a different outlet, and having the cord routed to the top of the handle prevents me from tangling and damaging the cord. The top cord hook folds down, allowing you to remove the cord in one step without unwrapping it for use. The six-way height adjustment knob is easy to use, as is the handle release pedal, but the on/off button is tricky as it sits flush with the body, so it sometimes takes a few seconds to turn it off while the brush is on grind the carpet. I downgraded it one star for unclear assembly instructions that apply to multiple models and no list of replacement or repair parts. The bag was easy to figure out as it is printed on the outside zip pocket (F&G) but I had to go to the Sanitaire website to find out what strap and brush roll is needed. Also, the warranty for this model is only 2 years, which is not very good in my opinion.
