Bought this collar - didn't think our pup would do well with the 'Cone of Shame' after neutering. Bought it beforehand so he could get used to wearing it. He likes it because it's soft and it's easy for him to fall asleep in it. He was good right from the start - although as a puppy he wanted to gnaw everything. It's really soft and comfortable. We had one over a number of years in an older dog that had to have growths removed several times. She also liked this collar. Holds them up to lick/chew on affected areas and is like a built in pillow for them when they are resting. We both take off the collar when they eat, but they usually drink water with it.
