I bought these Breezo strips to reduce plastic after my recycling friend told me that only about 20% of US recyclables are actually recycled. The rest ends up in landfills and doesn't biodegrade for thousands of years. I bought them after looking at the Tru Earth brand for the first time. I chose Breezo for cost reasons. Only $8 for 48 downloads! For those who have complained about residue on clothes, I haven't had this problem even on my dark colored clothes. However, I always run the washing machine, throw in a strip and wait a minute for it to dissolve. I also rotate it to speed up the process. Then add clothes. I will never buy detergent in a plastic bottle again! This is an update of a previous review. I reordered these Breezeos and the second pack is nothing like the first. With the second batch, the strips do not dissolve quickly at all, and therefore leave marks on clothes. I have to break it into small pieces and first dissolve it in a cup of water and then pour it into the washing machine. I didn't have to do that with the first package. I don't know if the manufacturer changed them or if they're fake or something but I wouldn't recommend them again. However, I can try them again to make sure I don't have a bad batch.
