I bought this part as I am fairly confident in my DIY skills. This part is ONLY the digitizer screen so this is just a glass screen plastic frame not included Decided to express this as it seems some buyers think this its all screen and frame and then scream dirty. To replace it, you'll have to disassemble the tablet and use either a heat gun, heat gun, or dry ice method (google it) This is something you don't want to do in a hurry. Take your time heating up if you are freezing and slowly work your way around the edge of the screen with the blade to cut through the adhesive and use a phone removal tool or similar tool to slowly pry the screen away Prying off the frame Most sources recommend heating the area between 100 and 120 degrees Celsius, so keep your heat gun moving Research institutes. Don't let it sit in one spot for too long or you risk deforming the frame. After removing all four corners, use another blade to gently scrape away the remaining glue, then wipe with alcohol or acetone. You can go all out and use a little Goo Gone. Peel off the plastic backing tape from the inside and carefully align the corners. Don't press on it, you just need to make sure all sides line up. Turn the screen over, place it on a flat surface and gently press the edges of the frame. (My stupid bum did this while holding the frame in his hands and broke it on one of the edges. The screen works fine, the cracks are not visible, but it woke me up from my inattention. Once done. Assemble, turn it on.. and I hope it was your digitizer that went bad and you can enjoy your tablet again.UPDATE 7/14/21 So I've found that the touch sensitivity on this screen might be too sensitive or a little off the corner I need to click a little deeper than before, otherwise it won't be recognized Also, when I have multiple browser tabs open, it's a bit less accurate Before, I could just click pretty close to the X to close a tab, and not more often than not open a new one I have a touchscreen Performed calibration and that seems to have helped!
