Metal parts are not without danger for hamsters

Of course, our hamster immediately decided on these metal parts! We can't even use the swing because she's obsessed with chain chewing. And the metal on the strands of the wood pieces broke after a week causing the hook to fall off, so it's totally unusable because it's not safe because the metal wire is exposed and sharp now. She chews a few bites and seems to like carrots best. All in all I can't recommend this set for the price.
