Review on Vibrelli Bike Wall Mount: Horizontal Storage Rack For Hanging Bicycles In Home Or Garage - Adjustable Hooks For Mountain, Road & Hybrid Bikes by Jason Maciel

Good, Could be Better UPDATED

I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS DESIGN EXCEPT FOR SPECIFIC INSTALLATION VIBRELLI DETAILS.I've had nothing but problems and added expense in getting this thing up and stabilized. It has crushed the sheetrock, pulled away from the wall, came out completely with just a slight bump. And I consider myself a competent DIYer/Homeowner. 8/19/20This is a decent rack with utility in many locations around the home or work. Not too much to detail here, so my one big plus is the depth of the arm cups that hold the bike frame. There is noticeable flection of the pipe that holds the two arms which surprised me (my ride is a Trek FX Sport 4 weighing 23 lbs), but the bike and rack are secure.Issues and Improvements: the included hardware is bare minimum- bolts are too short and fastener selection is limited to one type. Also, the hole diameter is too small- the included bolts go thru, but any installation other than the one provided for is going to require boring into the steel plate. I think some ability to lock a bike to the ount would be a great, and cheap mod for Vibrelli.
