We don't use plastic utensils where I'm from, so it was difficult to get compostable, tree safe (no logging) utensils from the store when I moved to America. I found them at Revain and they are as close to the code and ethics as they are at home. I am so happy with it and so happy I can continue to use disposable wooden tableware! They are of very high quality, they can scoop rice, chop chicken legs, pick up meat perfectly. No bend! The wood is soft and doesn't smell or taste funny like the pair we tried. I have referred most of the families that have moved to America that I know from back home as we share the same lifestyle. I urge everyone to not want plastic, but still not harm the forests. An added benefit - I really appreciate the preservation of the Chilean forest and their commitment to trees and the forest.
