Metal balls will not detach from hoop earrings or other jewelry and the hoop earrings are too small for a real lip piercing which should be centered below the lower lip. Also, if you remove the balls, they don't stay in place very long after they're punctured. I've dropped more than 3 and they were lost within 30 minutes to an hour. I actually bought it hoping the hoops would be big enough for my lip piercing because I saw cute pictures of it. I didn't know I was wrong I guess. My fiancé has spider bites and they don't stay home so it really sucks. Although the balls are beautiful. It's just a shame that it really would have been what I wanted. Honestly a bit disappointed.
