At $20-$30 this is a decent speaker for some unique uses. Considering the size of the speaker, I would say that it delivers very good sound quality. I first used it as a DLNA speaker for smart home integration. It worked well with the SmartThings system and I was able to get it to announce some important events that you couldn't easily do with Google Home or Alexa. If you want to use it as an Alexa device, you will be very disappointed. It's always plugged into a power source, so battery life isn't an issue for me, but I think it's too short for those who want to use it as a portable speaker.
