Review on 1.0 Megapixel 720p USB Camera - Equipped with IR 📷 Cut and IR LED for Advanced Day and Night Smart Video Surveillance by Carl Movahed

Not a very good product. It's mediocre at best. The problems I've encountered are: 1. The cable is too generic and allows for external interference, causing the screen to flicker, which in turn triggers the motion detection software I'm using, causing false alarms. I was able to lower the sensitivity of the motion sensor, but I found the limit where it stopped showing me movement from afar. So the problem of interference might be solved if you include a higher quality cable that has more noise immunity than some of my other devices with extra long cables.2. Twice a day I have to disconnect my device from my computer because it shows a black screen and then shows a device not connected error in my viewer app. I tried using another application with the same result.3. While I like that the body is metal, I find that when it rains or dirt builds up, it becomes increasingly difficult to unscrew the body that sits between the camera ball and the stand itself. I suppose lubricating the threads with some sort of oil will help with that if I need to reposition it in the future (which almost certainly is if it keeps failing). I would not buy this item again.
