I have a Xiaomi phone and it didn't work with it, couldn't enable USB tethering. My other phone is OnePlus 6 and I was able to get it to work on this phone. It is still inconvenient to open EZCast app and connect to MiraPlug. but then you have to press the mirror button to start streaming your phone to the MiraPlug device. The picture quality is excellent. The sound quality is excellent and is transmitted via the HDMI connection. When the phone screen turns off, it also outputs to MiraPlug. So you need to disable this on your phone while mirroring. And you must remember to reset this setting to your liking otherwise you may accidentally drain your battery.
