I have a hard time understanding who this product is for. It's not soft, but it's not rock hard either. It doesn't work effectively as a head or neck pillow as it's too big to actually rest in the neck area (i.e. between your head and shoulders), your head will float off the floor a bit. The "suitcase" is a thin, rough thing, not a real case (opening the "suitcase" confronts you with raw foam). Take a look if you are looking for an absurdly hard, very small round neck pillow. , big! But not me. I wanted a heavy, large, and soft pillow with a real pillowcase on that "case". There were no results. Very disappointed.
