I was researching cheap air compressors after an off-road adventure. With 32" tires ranging from 15-18psi for trails to 32psi for roads, I wanted something that could handle all 4 tires without overheating. overheating However, on a cool day all 4 will do. My compromise was to only vent to 18-20psi so all tires can be brought back to 32psi for the street. For a budget priced compressor that connects to the battery (to prevent the fuse from blowing) I think it's pretty cool. Compromise for cheap - the pressure gauge on the hose isn't very accurate and doesn't show much. It's not a question of IF it overheats, it's WHEN, well). The hose is pretty cheap and I don't think it will last very long. The included adapters are pretty crappy. The case it comes in is also thin, although it holds everything together. Even if it doesn't overheat it gets REALLY hot, instead of putting it in the engine bay I always put it on the floor. Pros for b are cheap - you can get 2 and not worry about overheating if you use it like me and you have a backup although it takes up more space. It's better than a bunch of other compressors in its price range. It's actually a fairly compact size that delivers a lot of air very quickly. Overall I give 4 stars for its value, the bolt connections work well, the length of the cable and hose is more than enough to access all 4 tires, connect directly to the battery and be able to inflate all 4 tires in less than 10 minutes.
