It's really easy for me to deploy my own custom rules which can be used with other tools like ModSecurity or OWASPEER etcetera! The price tag might seem high at first but it only covers you up until your self hosted environment reaches certain limits. For example if I have an instance running 10k requests per second then this means we're spending $100/month instead of say 1 cent just because AWS has capped us after 100k RPS so now our monthly bill will jump from 50 cents to over 3 dollars! We use ImmuNio heavily within both Nginx & Apache stacks where traffic comes through either Load Balancer / Traffic Manager OR directly via ELB / ALBs without HAProxy frontend servers. It works well across all environments including EC2 instances using Docker containers or bare metal VMs.
