Review on πŸŒ™ Safety 1st Nap and Go Rocking Bassinet: Star Gazer - Ensuring Safe Sleep for Your Baby by Jody Kashani

I like it, but I also don't like it

I really like this bassinet, but I'm embarrassed that the net doesn't reach the floor. I understand that an elaborate mesh construction all the way down might not be practical, but I think the amount of solid fabric should be less. I've attached a photo (sorry that's awful - I took this in the dark and my camera was pointed at my Boppy, but you get the point). I'm sure it's ok, but I'm uncomfortable. My son is a squirming worm and always manages to stick his head against the net in the middle of the night. Luckily I was able to lift him off the fabric so his face rests on the mesh and not the fabric when he moves. It's comfortable and it eases my anxiety. I also really like the baby seat. It's solid for the price. The rocking ability is a lifesaver in the middle of the night when he's hectic. Assembly was easy and disassembly was easy too. We just took it into town this weekend and it rode well and was light and easy to transport. I like it for the price.

Pros
  • Practical thing
Cons
  • There are flaws
