Definitive Technology's ProCenter 1000 Center Speaker offers excellent sound quality at an affordable price ($300). I've only had a 2.1 system (front left, front right, subwoofer) and have always had problems with the dialogue. Adding this center channel speaker to my Polk towers and subwoofer has made a world of difference in performance! I just made some minor adjustments to my Denon AVR-3313CI AV Receiver (In-Command Series) to balance the sound and add a channel. I also used Definitive's Promount 90 wall mounts, they fit perfectly on my mantel. I highly recommend this column. Installs quickly and easily right out of the box. Uses some 14 AWG speaker wire and banana plugs (from Monoprice). Try it!
