WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS IPAD KEYBOARD CASE

I bought 3 Yekbee/Typepad keyboard cases for my iPads; One of them has a trackpad/touchpad. Worked great for a few months. But since then I've had some problems. Let me talk about the positives first: the battery life is around a week with my use (very good, IMO). The quality of the keyboard is okay. I can't type as fast on a keyboard as I can on a real keyboard, but I knew that for this price and small size there would be a compromise. The hinge of the case is strong, holds the iPad well and can withstand daily wear and tear. use. If the case is on a soft surface or in your lap, it will want to lean away from you. So you have to be careful how far you tilt it and also make sure you keep your hand on it at all times. The case holds the iPad very firmly. In everyday life this is excellent as it means it will hold the iPad no matter what. I think it will survive a fall onto a wooden floor and provide decent protection for the iPad. It should definitely be good on carpet. But I haven't had a single fall to the ground, so I have no real experience in that aspect. The disadvantage of holding the iPad so tightly is that it is difficult to get it out. So if you regularly need to take your iPad out of the case, this keyboard case is not for you. I've never taken the time to figure out if there's a "a" way to permanently stop the keyboard backlight from changing color. By default, this is a light show that's distracting and frustrating. I have to click on the colored ones all the time Press button to stop this irritation. The Typepad case with the touchpad was the first to have an issue. It kept triggering buttons that I didn't press. I made sure it was charged and paired those Bluetooth reconnected to the iPad (removed it from the Bluetooth pairing list and then paired it again) I don't have time for this. So I removed it and switched back to Yekbee with no touchpad. This other case hasn't been used for maybe 2 months and doesn't seem to be holding up. Because it doesn't hold a charge and only works for a few seconds at a time. (If I keep typing and pretending not to know it's not working, it prints about half the words I actually type on the keyboard.) Either way, this is a ridiculous feature. I am writing this review in December 2020. The non-touchpad one was purchased in March 2020. The one with the touchpad was purchased in June 2020. The third Yekbee I have was bought in May 2020 and thankfully it still works perfectly. But having problems with 2 out of 3 of their products within 6-9 months is not reassuring. For these reasons, I cannot recommend Yekbee/Typepad keyboard cases. The third Yekbee I have was bought in May 2020 and thankfully it still works perfectly.
