This is not much different from many other phone holders as it is just a piece of thick molded silicone that attaches to the handlebars. However, it appears to be worse for two very important reasons. First, it's support support. There is almost no additional material on the back wall that would serve as a bumper and dampen vibrations. The back of the phone essentially just rests on the steering wheel. Second, the little rubber straps that actually hold the phone in place are just that: small. My phone isn't a very large model, but even so, the straps looked like they were stretched to the limit when installed. All in all, it just didn't seem safe to carry my phone on a bike, so I'm returning it.
