I bought these for our 46lb boxer who had a bit of a gunpowder problem while on the mat. I've had this idea for a while but wasn't sure if it would help. I bought them because of the price and the great colors. I've read if you have a dog that uses them more often to move away from disposables and into washables. I wasn't sure how they would fit because boxers have such a small waist, so I bought the size Large. The great thing about them is that they are very easy to put on. You just tuck it in and clip it on top. (Kind of like the reverse way of putting on a baby diaper.) The Velcro was easy to adjust to fit their waist, and they looked darn cute. At first my dog didn't know WHAT to think of her new "fancy panties" but she didn't try to take them off either. She was walking a little strangely, probably feeling the new diaper, but she didn't seem to mind. Fast forward a week and she no longer notices. When she comes outside, she just walks up to me and patiently waits for me to put a diaper on her. Great purchase and so satisfying that I can now let her get back in my bed and enjoy snuggling with her again without worrying about her accidentally peeing all over the place. They are very easy to wash, just throw them in the washing machine and they will be like new.
