These chair leg inserts go well with patio furniture installed on my composite patio. HOWEVER, they are advertised as not leaving any marks on the surface. Heck, just moving chairs around with no people sitting on them resulted in horrible black stains on the composite patio. I had to use a cleaning brush to remove these stains. I have to attach plastic furniture sliders to the bottom of each insert to avoid damaging my patio significantly. As I said, the earbuds fit well, which helps me because old earbuds wear out a lot with age. So I replaced the old inserts with these but I had to buy other sliders to avoid damaging the deck. I know they aren't expensive, but I wouldn't buy them if I knew they would cause this problem.
