Firstly this light is nice and bright but tonight mine broke after about a week and was used less than 6 hours. Also be careful when asked not to touch the lamp body, they WARNING! I installed this in my underground as my only light source and as I was standing at the very back of the room with some other working lamps (powered by an extension cord on a different circuit) I noticed that this lamp suddenly stopped working. I finished my work and started moving toward the exit, and thinking the lamp was loose, I foolishly reached out to turn it on. That's when I found out the hard way why it's not working. About half a second later, with the current flowing through my hand and arm, I was able to pull myself together and grab my tester. I turned off the lamp and made sure there was no juice, then removed the lamp and carefully disassembled it, discovering that the common wire from the transformer inside had come loose and was still hot to the touch. Suffice it to say I will never buy this again and whoever still works gets a paid trip to an e-waste center. So if you have them and they're still working, be careful, they'll stop suddenly and believe the warnings on the base when it says turn off the lamp before installing or removing the lamp. Look for "hot" if you have a tool that's hard to tell if it's on, such as a power tool. B. a tool with a tensioning chain. I hope this can save someone else the trouble of finding quality control issues like I did.
