I really like these collars! I've bought so many detachable collars for indoor and outdoor cats, not to mention the expensive engraved name tags, and in a day or two she'll be home without a collar. The bad thing about tearaway collars is that they don't have elasticity and will literally tear and get lost along with my cat's name tag. I've been using it for a few months now and I'm very happy with it! They are very elastic so if the cat gets caught on something there is room to wriggle out and the collar stays in place and will not break and get lost in the desert. I saved a lot of money buying new name tags and collars. Finally! I'm also sure that when my cat goes outside, her collar stays on! So if something happens or she gets lost or someone thinks she's cute and wants to take her home, she wears her collar with my details and they can contact me and find out what she has, the owner so she doesn't take away a way. She! The only downside is that some of the designs on the collars aren't the prettiest - I wish they would come up with prettier designs, but either way, the function of the collar is more important.
