Review on Seagate ST500LM000 SSHD 500GB: Faster Storage with Solid State Hybrid Technology by Gus Pierson

This was my second purchase from: AMS TECHNOLOGIES, INC. - exactly the same hard drive model. - First drive delivered was new as expected - Loved the price and product - Needed another hard drive, very happy with the first purchase and seller - Gladly again based on the 1st transaction, used the previous order on the 2nd .Hard Drive - Opened the package and noticed that the 2nd drive that was sent to me had multiple stickers *One of them said all information on the hard drive was destroyed with a specific DOD standard *The second sticker was a label for: brand - different, model - HDD, MFG SER - (empty), pallet - 550000015801 - if I pay factory price, send me a new unit, otherwise it's a deceptive "bait and swap" - 10,787 POH - that is about 1/4 of the expected drive life - if it were less than 500 hours or so. I would probably keep it but was disappointed with the seller and didn't buy it again - Return the unit for a full refund
