Chewable proof, not for walking training.
I'm torn about how to rate this. Definitely chew resistant, we have a GSD that is a year old and is a master class chew. ;). However, if you plan on walking your dog, I wouldn't recommend it. The cable and handle are very stiff and very uncomfortable and should not be wrapped around the arm for exercises such as walking.
