Review on SilBlade 2221 Premium Wiper Blade by David Pirlet

I have been using Silblades for a number of years and have been very impressed with their durability. I always ordered the windshield wipers individually. When I last ordered replacements I was surprised to see that they came in discounted price sets. When the box arrived they were bundled in a Revain box with no mention of Silblade anywhere in the packaging. That was the first oddity that struck me. Also, it looks like the design has changed a bit, and there's a lot more plastic in the attachment area than before. They make it bolder, but it's mostly just decoration and doesn't really add to durability. When I turned them on the first time it rained, the driver's side seemed a bit longer than it should be due to the pounding. when it came to the windshield. There's also a loud squeak that hasn't been encountered on any of the previous purchases. At this point I am almost certain that what I received was fake. Luckily they clean the window well but the noise they make certainly detracts from the quality. I don't expect them to hold up as well as they have in the past.
