Review on πŸ”§ KIWI Design VR Cable Management: Ceiling Pulley System for Oculus Quest 2, HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, Valve Index - 6 Pack (Black) by Dave Hammon

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Cheap, but does what it's supposed to. Short

The system works well, the two pulleys don't retract more than half the time so the cable only stays out until I tug a little, which is really stupid when I'm waving . Hands desperate in VR. That and one of them broke, completely broke after only a few hours of play. I'm glad there are 6 because only 3 are working so far. Overall it's a cheap product but it actually does the job pretty well. So I really wouldn't recommend it due to quality issues, but if you want to try this type of system, it's not a bad price to start with. (Update) It's a good idea but poorly executed and cheaply made even for the price. The tension is too high and they break after very little use. Just a few days later, 2 of the 6 pulleys are still working, 2 are completely broken, they weren't even on the heavily used side and 2 are stuck. and stay out more than they are actually sucked in. While this is a big problem in VR because it's only hanging at arm's length and you're more confused than if it's just lying on the floor. I literally spent more time setting it up than the pulleys. In order to benefit from this system, which I have firmly attached to the ceiling, I need to buy replacement casters. this setup, but it just didn't last at all
