It does its job perfectly, but sometimes it gets very hot and does.
UPDATE: I've had it for about a year now and it's worn out exposing my wires on both ends. would not recommend. My laptop won't charge anymore. I left the charger with CO during the debate and ordered this as a replacement. It does its job perfectly but sometimes gets very hot and makes noise if left plugged in. It's quality isn't good enough for me to leave it on when I go to class or work, but for the price it's good enough that I just charge it while doing HW.
