Review on πŸ§€ Ikea Stralande Rotary Grater, White: Effortless Cheese and Vegetable Shredding by Misty Myers

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Parmesan and cheddar are excellent. The first is now at the daughter's house, the second is already on the way.

Much less effort overall and much faster. Gentle on wrists, hands and forearms. Perfect when more is needed but not that much for less due to cleaning time unless you want to show off at a special dinner. We prefer the quality of freshly grated US cheese, which comes in at a reasonable price of around $4 a pound, but is still very good for everyday use. We also use imported parmesan on a daily basis. Crushed for a year, hard work and dangerous for the joints. Yes, as other reviews have mentioned, you can only put smaller pieces in, but it only takes a few seconds to cut off another piece, open the grate and start over. The larger keg is perfect for white cheddar cuts when straight from the fridge. The smaller barrel is good for hard parm, but it comes out more than I expected. However, it comes out very thin so it melts a bit on hot food, which is a very good way. We put it on top of the popcorn, and while it melts and disappears on top of the popcorn, mixed with butter, nutritional yeast, and some salt, it's a good thing. rag. I have used the dishwasher a few times and it has been perfect. Can make a huge pile of cheese faster, easier on hands and wrists, and safer. We store our cheese in glass containers in the fridge. If you have larger ones, you can try storing the cheese grater in the fridge so you don't have to constantly clean it. If a bit of cheddar is needed, I still use my small flat hand grater with a handle. Made useless mush out of whole carrots. I'll use a grater on them.
