I used these on the back end of my car. they work great, however as stated they are solid red, and can hook up to the turn signals. The main complaint I have is that it's so ass backwards in wiring in my opinion. The wiring is at its furthest point away from the actual wiring your hooking into. I feel if your creating something that switches to a turn signal you'd want the wires facing that direction, so I can see how people get confused. I spent extra time with a volt meter and testing them to identify the correct way to install them. They look great but for my car I need the full length coverage. which these were not intended for the back endnof the car lol. Overall they're great!Oh also the wiring is tiny. such a pain in the. yeah. it's like a 20 or 22 gauge. possibly smaller? Just a heads up lol
