All in all, this is a truly stunning, minimalist mobile desk and it's surprisingly hard to find anything quite like it. Feels sturdy and stable enough not to worry about the laptop tipping over. In fact, I accidentally hit him once when I got up quickly from my chair and he was barely moving. But a few annoying points: 1. Assembly is poorly explained. There is also a spare gasket and bolts, I have no idea how/where to go. In addition, when unpacking, a piece of rubber fell off and it is not clear where. The overall workmanship is not of very high quality.2. It engages well on the downstroke but has freedom of movement on the upstroke. Should have been locked in both directions and released by a lever only when adjustment was required.3. Wheels are cheap and flimsy. I expect them to wear out/break first. But it gets the job done and adjusts to a variety of heights and distances, allowing me to transition from office chair to bar stool to sofa to bed with ease, and it puts me in the perfect position for will. Hopefully they will improve it in the next iterations.
