My slow cooker arrived within the expected delivery window and works great. It is much better than the old version as it has an on/off switch and a detachable base. I've used it for both soup and regular food (chicken/vegetables/rice) and it did a great job of reheating both types of food. I usually turn it on about an hour before eating and the food is delicious and hot. I removed the star because mine has some minor scratches/damage on the front. It wasn't so bad that I was willing to pay for shipping back, but I can't help but get annoyed every time I see it. It was a little pricey to have a cosmetic flaw right on the front. The defect was caused during production and is not due to the seller or the shipping method.
