I have two more egg rings but this new set I bought suits my needs better. One of my old kits has a handle that goes up with the handle, but there is an open space where the handle attaches that the egg seeps through. The other set is a closed ring, but it's larger and either the rings are a bit too big for my largest pan, or the rings just don't lay quite flat as again the eggs run under the ring. I tried these new rings straight away and I like them. They are smaller and even larger than I wanted the egg to be the size of an English muffin. Other things I liked were that they are a closed ring so the egg doesn't leak where the handle attaches and the handles fold up nicely when not in use. Two rings fit perfectly in the pan. The only improvement I could see that could be added to this ring is to add something to the end of the handle to allow the ring to be removed from the pan without a potholder as the current bare metal handle design gets too hot. Delivery was quick. The rings are packaged in a box which ensures safe shipping, however the box will be mailed in a mail bag where the USPS can damage the inner box. My egg ring boxes were crumpled when I took them out of the bag, but luckily the rings weren't crumpled. It is recommended to use a box instead of a mailer/envelope to better protect the product during shipping.
