Worked on the drivers side of a 2000 GMC Safari. Very difficult to replace without special tools. The included installation hardware is not enough to complete the task. The old drive is riveted and needs to be turned or cut with an angle grinder or similar. Don't attempt this replacement unless you have access to good tools. The new actuator comes with a mounting bracket that can be used to mount it on the driver or passenger door, but the actuator will need to be partially disassembled to install the bracket. . In addition, the kit includes rivets that are not large enough to attach the bracket to the door hardware. Luckily, the mount comes with metric-threaded frame nuts. In three minutes at my local Ace Hardware and for $3, I got a pair of stainless steel screws and washers that hold the drive in place much better than any rivet.
