WOW! I was a bit skeptical about this purchase as I really wanted a quality product and as usual quality was based on $$$. I read the reviews, thought about it, went back and looked at other products and finally bit the bullet and hit the buy button. Don't be a skeptic! These speakers rock! Crystal clear sound, rich bass. I went to big box stores and listened to a lot of different speaker sets. I can't tell any difference in the sound or even the structure of these speakers compared to some of the higher end $$$ speakers. Went to a favorite movie to see the difference between this and my old system, and heard little details that I don't remember hearing before. Gave them some volume and they shook the windows with no noticeable distortion. I don't usually use high volume initially, but if you want this should suit your needs. Speaker mounts are easy to install. Yes, you'll have to use their mounts, but fear not, they look great too and the speakers fit in such a way that you really can't tell they're even there. They actually look better than the ones I had with my old speakers and give off a cleaner profile once the installation is complete. The slots lined up with my old mounting holes so no additional drilling was required which is always a plus. Your experience may be different, but for me it was easy. I've seen several reviews where they had a problem connecting the speaker wire to the connectors. I've used 16ga cables and haven't encountered any connection issues. However, I do soak the ends of my wires to keep them from flaring, so bear that in mind. Do yourself a favor, save the money you would pay for big name, high priced speakers and get these little gems. Then take your savings and take your wife over for a steak dinner.
